Carlo Ancelotti Makes History with Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, has become the most successful coach in the team's history. This happened after Real Madrid won the FIFA Intercontinental Cup by defeating Pachuca 3-0.
Ancelotti has been coaching Real Madrid for two periods: from 2013 to 2015 and from 2021 until now. During this time, he has won 15 trophies, including three Champions League titles, two LaLiga titles, and two Copa del Rey titles.
The previous record was held by Miguel Muñoz, a legendary coach who won 14 trophies with Real Madrid between 1960 and 1974.
Ancelotti said, "I'm very happy... It's a success. We took control of the game little by little and ended it well."
The players also praised Ancelotti, with Vinícius Júnior saying, "Congratulations to the coach, he deserves it. He gives us freedom, and he's perfect for us."
Ancelotti will have the chance to win more trophies in January when Real Madrid plays in the Spanish Supercopa in Saudi Arabia.
Ancelotti first coached Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015 and won the Champions League in his first season. He returned to the team in 2021 and has since won two LaLiga and Champions League titles.
Ancelotti is considered one of the greatest coaches in football history, having won numerous titles with different teams, including AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.
